The Adventure Begins
I just graduated with my Bachelors degree and was neck deep in student loans. With plans of pursuing more school and working full time for an employer. I packed up my bags and made it out west, in search of sunny skies and winter-less years. Leaving behind my home of 17 years.
As soon as I moved to the golden coast I fell in love with the ocean, sunshine, and endless palm trees. My journey was just beginning but it wasn't all paradise. I didn't expect any of the events to have unfolded here.
I noticed something was different with myself and things were not working how they should be. Normal daily activities were becoming increasingly difficult and I was losing weight fast, I did not feel like myself.
I developed an over active thyroid and it went over a year undetected and untreated. Chronic illness turned my world upside down. I had to make serious lifestyle changes and re-evaluate how I approached healing and modern medicine. It took me over 3 years to get my thyroid levels back to normal.
I started sharing my story on Instagram in 2018 with no intentions to where it would lead. I never imagined in a million years to end up doing what I am now!
I created this site to share, inspire, and learn from others.
